Job Description

As Commissioning Assurance Team Lead, you are responsible for the execution of a compliance assurance function on behalf of the Commissioning Start Up Manager, ensuring that Commissioning and Operability governance, processes, and arrangements are rigorously applied and maintained to facilitate the effective delivery of projects. The role upholds continued adherence to Commissioning start up procedures, Site Licence Conditions and statutory and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibility

  • Provides strategic oversight of assurance activities, ensuring that commissioning processes, evidence and readiness milestones are delivered to the required quality, safety and compliance standards
  • Influencing and stakeholder management, they communicate complex assurance findings with clarity, challenge constructively at senior levels and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Provide effective leadership, guidance, and coaching to the Assurance Team to optimise capability, enhance performance, and ensure efficient, high quality delivery of assurance functions
  • Ensure commissioning progress is captured, verified, and reported with a high degree of accuracy, transparency, and traceability
  • Plan, allocate, and optimise Assurance Team resources to ensure the effective and timely support of project delivery and Commissioning objectives

Requirements

  • Developing and implementing an assurance surveillance programme ensuring that effective governance arrangements are established to provide oversight of processes and standards
  • Developing, maintaining and consistently improve local assurance methods, tools and dashboards to monitor quality performance
  • Lead the planning and delivery of assurance audits against Commissioning Start Up activities as defined by the Clients Quality Department to provide confidence in ongoing compliance
