Job Description:

Kitchen Support Experts play an important role in support of several hotel functions. These associates may work across departments (e.g., kitchen, food and beverage, employee dining room) to support cleaning and basic kitchen preparation needs. Whether preparing fresh clean linen and spotless dining ware for guests to enjoy, operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools, or transporting dishware across the hotel, these associates do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Job Responsibility:

Kitchen support across departments
Support cleaning and basic kitchen preparation needs
Prepare fresh clean linen and spotless dining ware
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools
Transport dishware across the hotel
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

Requirements:

No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
No related work experience required
No supervisory experience required
No license or certification required
Ability to follow company and safety policies
Ability to report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions
Complete safety training and certifications
Maintain clean uniform and professional appearance
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Support team to reach common goals
Ensure adherence to quality expectations
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, stooping
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 25 pounds
