As a Commis, you will support the daily operations of the kitchen by assisting senior chefs in food preparation and basic kitchen tasks. This role is ideal for an aspiring culinary professional eager to learn, develop skills, and build a strong foundation within a luxury hotel kitchen environment.
Job Responsibility:
Assist in basic food preparation and support the assigned kitchen station
Follow standard recipes, preparation methods, and hygiene procedures
Support the Chef de Partie and Demi Chefs in daily production tasks
Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area at all times
Follow HACCP, hygiene, and fire safety regulations
Assist with other culinary tasks or projects as assigned by kitchen leadership.
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of kitchen preparation
culinary education or training is an advantage
Motivation to learn and grow within a professional kitchen environment
Physically fit and able to work in a fast‑paced setting
Team‑oriented mindset with a professional attitude
Basic English communication skills
Previous kitchen experience is an advantage but not required.
