Job Description:

Commis position at W Dubai - The Palm responsible for food preparation, cooking according to recipes and quality standards, maintaining food logs, and assisting with kitchen operations while ensuring adherence to safety and quality expectations.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare special meals or substitute items
Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
Pull food from freezer storage to thaw in refrigerator
Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish
Maintain food logs
Monitor quality and quantity of food prepared
Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
Prepare cold foods
Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating employees
Follow all company safety and security policies
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional

Requirements:

Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
At least 3 years of related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
