Job Description:

We are looking for Commis Waiters to assist our Glasshouse restaurant team in the upcoming busy season. Estelle Manor is a rural retreat set on an 85-acre estate in Oxfordshire. The manor has four restaurants, an extraordinary 3,000 sq metre Roman-inspired spa- Eynsham Baths, 108 bedrooms and a gym with class studios and padel courts. Plus, there’s a kids’ club for the little ones and a workspace.

Job Responsibility:

  • Helping to deliver a warm and memorable dining experience for every guest who visits The Glasshouse restaurant
  • Helping to serve food and beverages throughout the day—covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner services—with a commitment to excellence
  • Playing an essential role as part of our Food & Beverage team, ensuring that the space is always set up for success
  • Addressing guest inquiries with care or resolving any concerns with a positive attitude
  • Maintaining the highest standards of service and presentation, particularly during busy lunch and dinner periods
  • Contributing to enhancing the overall guest experience, ensuring that every interaction is warm, professional, and memorable.

Requirements:

  • Ability to perform under pressure and deliver results to deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable talking to colleagues, senior management and being front of house building relationships with our members and guests
  • An enthusiastic team player with a positive mindset and hugely charismatic
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experience with keen attention to detail
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and hosting.
