Job Responsibility

Prepare and cook healthy and nutritious meals and snacks from approved menus
Cover chef absences across Cherubs Nurseries
Champion cooking and baking across all areas of the nursery, including baking with children and preparing additional food for nursery events
Remove kitchen waste regularly
Complete weekly ordering of food
Maintain high standard of hygiene, cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
Maintain adequate stock levels of food
Ensure good stock rotation
Be aware of health and safety legislation relevant to the nursery kitchen
Ensure the Nursery Kitchen Operations Pack is followed and kept up to date
