Job Description:

Perform food preparation tasks, ensure quality standards, collaborate with team members, and uphold the values of The Ritz-Carlton.

Job Responsibility:

Monitor the quality and quantity of food
Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish
Address guests' service needs
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
Follow all company policies
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are professional

Requirements:

Monitor the quality and quantity of food
Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish
Prepare various cuts of meat
Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
Prepare sauces, stock, and soup
Prepare cold food
Check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food
Monitor stock of kitchen supplies
Follow company and safety policies
Maintain confidentiality
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Perform physical tasks like lifting up to 25 pounds
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods

Nice to have:

Technical, trade, or vocational school degree
4 to 6 years of related work experience
