Job Description:

Join our team! Are you ready to take the next big step in your culinary career? Four Seasons Hotel Toronto is looking for a Full-Time Commis I to join our Cafe Boulud team, who shares our passion for food and cooking and is willing to learn from and contribute to our culinary team.

Job Responsibility:

Work together with other team members on a daily basis to ensure a flawlessly executed final product

Requirements:

  • Passionate about cuisine
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors
  • Ability to read and follow menus and recipes
  • Ability to complete basic mathematical calculations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Trained and certified in safe food handling
  • Proficient knife skills
  • Ability to stand continuously for up to 8 hrs per shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays
  • Outgoing personality
  • Can-do approach to any task
  • At minimum 2 years previous Kitchen/Cook experience in a fast paced food and beverage operation
  • Exceptional communication skills, command of English language
  • A culinary training degree is preferred
