Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service and attention to our Guests. As a Commis de Rang you will prepare the dining venues and equipment, food pass and service area of your assigned station in the restaurant, ensuring Guests are consistently provided with courteous, engaging, prompt and efficient service. You will assist the Chef de Rang in the serving of food and attending Guest needs and requests, being highly visible in the operation, providing an expertly service experience, clearing and resetting tables according to standards and respecting the Hygiene standards applied in the Restaurant as per HACCP system. You will be communicating Guest orders to the Chef de Rang, serving food items and beverages, taking care of any special requests, anticipating guest needs, ascertaining satisfaction, and offering suggestions, assisting with restaurant inventory, taking care of the breakdown, cleaning and setting-up of tables and work stations.
Job Responsibility:

Take care of breakdown, cleaning and setting-up of tables and work stations
Describe food & beverage menu items to Guests
Coordinate food timings
Check completed kitchen orders with Guest's original order
Transport items to Guest table in a timely manner
Breakdown, clean and set-up tables, buffets, and food stations
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
Requirements:
High school education or equivalent experience
Minimum two years food service or related work
Food service experience in luxury hotels and/or stand-alone fine dining restaurants or restaurant groups, preferably in the same position
International experience would represent an asset
Ability to carry and balance a tray
Attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Ability to multi-task with excellent organizational skills
