Job Description

You will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service, memorable in‑room dining experiences, and attentive care for our guests throughout the Hotel. Your role includes assisting the Chef de Rang, supporting all IRD service operations, and ensuring timely, elegant, and precise delivery of food and beverage orders directly to guest rooms. You will manage set‑up, delivery, and clearing of IRD trays and trolleys, maintain high visibility within the guest corridor and IRD back‑office, and uphold Four Seasons service standards while respecting all hygiene and HACCP procedures.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist the Chef de Rang In Room Dining in all stages of room service delivery, from order preparation to service and clearance
  • Set up, deliver, and clear IRD trays, trolleys, amenities, and special requests with speed, accuracy, and exemplary presentation
  • Ensure china, glass, and silver items are handled impeccably, respecting Four Seasons standards and hygiene requirements
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of IRD back‑office areas, pantries, and service stations
  • polish silverware and restock supplies as needed
  • Provide warm, engaging service within guest rooms, offering menu explanations when needed and ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction
  • Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and escalate any feedback or concerns to senior IRD staff
  • Follow HACCP and departmental safety protocols at all times during preparation, transport, and clearance of IRD items
  • Maintain an elegant demeanor and professional appearance during all guest interactions in corridors and room entrances
  • Support opening and closing duties, including mise en place, linen and equipment organization, and preparing IRD areas for upcoming shifts
  • Collaborate closely with the kitchen, front office, and housekeeping to coordinate seamless in‑room dining operations

Requirements

  • Food service experience in luxury hotels and/or stand‑alone restaurants, ideally in the same role
  • international experience is an additional asset
  • Fluency in English and Italian
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with guests and colleagues
  • Ability to multitask with excellent organizational skills in a high‑end, fast‑paced service setting
  • A collaborative team spirit and a genuine personal touch that elevates each guest interaction
  • A special passion for excellence, service, and the magic of creating meaningful, unforgettable dining memories
  • You must possess the legal right to work in Italy
