The Commis de Partie plays an essential role within our Culinary Team, supporting the preparation of high‑quality food items while ensuring that all standards of safety, cleanliness, and consistency are impeccably upheld. You will work closely with the culinary brigade to prepare food items for our employees and support overall kitchen operations. In this role, you will ensure that all menu items reflect consistent quality, follow Four Seasons standards, and are executed with precision. You will maintain a safe and sanitary work environment, support proper labelling and rotation of food, adhere to temperature and storage guidelines, and contribute actively to food waste control, planning, and team development. Job Responsibility:
Work alongside the culinary team in the preparation of high‑quality food items, ensuring consistency and adherence to menu specifications
Maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary work environment at all times, following HACCP and Four Seasons hygiene standards
Date and label all food containers properly, ensuring correct rotation of all products in accordance with kitchen policies
Ensure all perishables are stored at proper temperatures, monitoring quality and freshness throughout the shift
Check daily pars, identify necessary preparation, and support mise en place execution for upcoming services
Assist the Sous Chefs and Restaurant Chef in planning and implementing strategies to reduce food waste
Support the culinary leadership team in mentoring junior team members, promoting a culture of learning, teamwork, and excellence
Uphold Four Seasons service philosophy by ensuring that every preparation supports outstanding employee dining and contributes indirectly to exceptional guest experiences
Demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and efficiency in all kitchen operations
Requirements:
Culinary experience in a luxury hotel or high‑end restaurant environment
Fluency in English and Italian
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
Commitment to maintaining the highest hygiene, safety, and quality standards
