Job Description:

You will receive a warm welcome into the Apex family on joining us as a Commis Chef in Bath. Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering a high level of food to all our guests
  • Helping maximise revenue through first class food preparation and delivery

  • Being passionate about food, preparing and serving breakfast, lunch and dinner to Company standards
  • Ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
  • Preparing dishes so they are ready for guests at the right time, in line with brand standards
  • Preparing the mis-en-place for the relevant dishes and menu's
  • Ensuring equipment and work spaces are kept clean and tidy and in line with food hygiene requirements
  • Assisting the Chef de Partie with regard to preparation of mis-en-place, cooking and the service of food to the required standards
  • Being responsible for the cleanliness of the section and all associated areas, relating to both storage and preparation, ensuring health and hygiene regulations are followed at all times in line with departmental cleaning schedules

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter
  • Can deliver excellent standards
  • Uses initiative
  • Is self-aware and able to evaluate their own work
  • Has a customer service attitude
  • Has the ability to multi-task and organise a variable work load
  • Provides excellent attention to detail
  • Holds a genuine desire to provide a Warmer Welcome to our guests
