We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. As a key part of our culinary operation, you will assist the Sous Chef in food preparation, ensuring the highest quality dishes are consistently produced. Job Responsibility:
Assist the Sous Chef in food preparation
Ensure high-quality dishes are consistently produced
Help source necessary ingredients and small equipment items
Minimise wastage
Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation
Ensure safe food handling practices are followed
Report directly to the Head Chef
Participate in departmental meetings
Perform any tasks assigned
Assist during busy periods
Communicate and participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
GCSE qualification and/or Level 1 and 2 Food Safety Awards
Previous hospitality industry cooking experience preferred
