Requirements

Proven experience as a commis chef or similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting with a strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques, and a willingness to continually develop culinary skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions from senior chefs
A commitment to maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, including adherence to food safety regulations and proper use of kitchen equipment and cleaning products
Good communication skills, willingness to work as part of a team, and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Job Responsibility

Work as part of a kitchen team to prepare and cook a range of dishes to menu specifications
Assist senior chefs with food preparation and ensure that all food is prepared and served to a high standard of quality and presentation
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas
