Job Description:

Prepare and cook food according to recipes and standards at Sheraton Melbourne Hotel. Maintain a clean and professional kitchen environment. Be a part of an inclusive and supportive team with opportunities for growth.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare ingredients for cooking
wash, peel, and portion food
cook dishes per recipes and standards
operate kitchen appliances
ensure food quality
maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area
report maintenance needs
adhere to safety and company policies
work collaboratively with team members

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience
ability to prepare ingredients, operate kitchen appliances, and follow recipes
ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period
ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
adherence to company and safety policies
ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
professional appearance and clear communication skills
