Job Description:

The Ritz-Carlton Melbourne is seeking two full-time Commis Chefs to join its team. This role requires maintaining high standards in food preparation, presentation, and cleanliness. Successful candidates should possess full working rights in Australia, relevant experience, and a passion for the culinary industry.

Job Responsibility:

Organizing and maintaining assigned sections of different kitchen venues effectively
Serve food in proper portions and onto proper receptacles focusing on attention to detail
Maintain organizational skills to ensure your section is clean and runs efficiently throughout each service period
Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a way that aims to exceed guest expectations
Understand guest requirements and deliver service excellence with each customer experience
Maintain strong food safety and property standards

Requirements:

Ability to work in a rotation schedule: morning, afternoon, evening
Trade Industry Qualification or completion of Commercial Cookery Qualification
Passion for the industry
Relevant experience in a similar role
Full working rights in Australia (required)
