Job Description:

As a Commis Chef you will play a vital role in supporting the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences across our outlets. This entry-level position is designed to provide hands-on experience in a professional kitchen environment, allowing you to develop your skills and build a strong foundation in culinary operations.

Job Responsibility:

Coordinate activities within your section during busy period and supports team efforts ensuring smooth operations
Prepare and present high-quality dishes within your designated section
Ensure all food preparation and storage meets health, safety and hygiene standards
Work closely with the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and other team members to ensure kitchen efficiency
Collaborate with the other F&B outlets to ensure efficiency
Innovate and contribute ideas for menu development and improvement
Anticipate and address guest needs, offering personalized recommendations and maintain a focus on guests satisfaction
Uphold brand values and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality service

Requirements:

Qualified Chef with Certificate in Commercial Cookery
At least 2 years experience preferably within a high volume environment
Attention to detail in all food preparation and delivery
Outstanding relationship building skills
Excellent customer service experience
Passion for the Hospitality Industry
The confidence to promote ideas and make sound decisions under pressure
Excellent verbal communication skills
