Job Responsibility:
Prepare ingredients including chopping, portioning, and storing food
Cook and present dishes according to recipes and quality standards
Operate kitchen equipment including ovens, grills, fryers, and microwaves
Monitor food quality and test dishes for doneness
Set up and break down workstations efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, tools, and equipment
Follow food safety procedures and temperature checks
Assist in preparing cold foods and mise-en-place for service
Support the team during busy service periods
Report maintenance issues, accidents, or unsafe conditions to management
Uphold company policies, safety standards, and grooming expectations
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen (preferred)
Passionate about cooking and eager to learn new techniques
Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety
Able to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Physically fit and able to stand, lift, and move throughout shifts
Clear communicator with a positive attitude
Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
