Job Description:

Four Points by Sheraton Auckland is seeking a Commis Chef to join their approachable and straightforward team. This role focuses on preparing and serving food with excellence, maintaining high food safety standards, and exceeding customer expectations within an honest and casual environment.

Job Responsibility:

Organise and maintain assigned section of the kitchen effectively
Serve food in proper portions and onto proper receptacles
Maintain organisational skills to ensure your section is clean and runs efficiently throughout each service period
Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a way that aims to exceed travellers expectations
Understand traveller’s requirements and deliver service excellence with each travellers experience
Maintain strong food safety and property standards

Requirements:

Trade Industry Qualification or completion of Commercial Cookery Qualification
Passion for the industry
Relevant experience in a similar role
Current and valid working rights in New Zealand (minimum 6 months)
Enthusiastic to escalate your career
Self-motivated, driven and energized in a fast-paced environment
