Job Description:

Redcape Hospitality is looking for a Casual Commis Chef to join the kitchen team at Criterion Hotel. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in producing quality food, and wants to build their career in hospitality. You’ll work alongside an experienced Head Chef and kitchen team in a busy hotel environment where no two shifts are the same. You’ll be supported to learn, develop your skills across all kitchen sections, and grow within a large hospitality group.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a fast-paced kitchen (Commis Chef or similar role preferred)
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or working towards it (desirable)
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to stay calm and organised under pressure
  • Team player who can work across multiple kitchen sections
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends and public holidays
  • Valid authority to work in Australia
