Job Description:

William Grant & Sons are currently recruiting for a Commis Chef to join our Dufftown site, to support the Head Chef and hospitality team in the preparation and delivery of a high-quality catering experience to both our internal and external customers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting the Head Chef with the planning, preparation and delivery of food service for a range of events for internal and external customers
  • Working closely as part of a team with the front of house restaurant team to ensure the delivery of a quality service in accordance with the Visitor Centre’s Canon standards

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Commis or Senior Commis Chef in a busy, high quality catering establishment
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy, fast paced environment whilst maintaining an eye for detail, staying calm and supporting others
  • Passion for continual improvement and possesses the ability to identify opportunities
  • Clear understanding of the requirements of food safety systems, documentation and legislation
  • Obtained an Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate
