Job Description:

Join Le Méridien Mahabaleshwar Resort & Spa as a Commis - III. Prepare, cook, and serve food while adhering to company standards. Ensure safety and cleanliness while working collaboratively with the team.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and cook food according to recipes and standards
operate kitchen equipment
manage food quality
set-up and break down work station
maintain cleanliness and safety
adhere to company policies
develop positive relationships with team members

Requirements:

Prepare ingredients for cooking
wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
prepare and cook food according to recipes, standards, and checklist
operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
test foods
set-up and break down work station
serve food in proper portions
wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
ensure adherence to safety policies
stand, sit, or walk for long periods
lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds
related work experience
high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
