A global quick-service restaurant organization is seeking a Commercialization Manager to lead the end-to-end commercialization of menu ingredients and packaging across the Latin America region. This role sits at the intersection of innovation, operations, procurement, quality assurance, marketing, suppliers, and franchise partners.
Job Responsibility
Product & Ingredient Commercialization: Lead commercialization of new and existing food products from concept through regional rollout
Partner with suppliers on formulation, validation, scale-up, and cost optimization
Collaborate with quality teams to develop and refine ingredient specifications
Ensure alignment with brand standards, consumer expectations, and regulatory requirements
Identify opportunities to improve quality, cost efficiency, and operational performance
Packaging Commercialization: Lead commercialization of core and limited-time packaging programs across LATAM
Ensure packaging meets food safety, sustainability, operational, and regulatory requirements
Evaluate supplier capabilities and regional readiness for implementation
Project & Cross-Functional Leadership: Own end-to-end project management and stage-gate execution
Translate marketing briefs into technically viable product and packaging solutions
Drive cross-functional alignment through regular stakeholder communication
Identify and resolve workflow gaps, technical issues, and supply risks
Support onboarding of new suppliers and ensure compliance with standards
Operations & Franchise Support: Support field teams and franchise partners during product transitions and launches
Partner with operations on handling procedures, equipment readiness, and quality execution
Collaborate with procurement to manage supply chain and importation risks
Develop contingency plans for stockouts and regional disruptions
Requirements
4–5+ years of experience in food R&D, product development, or commercialization
Experience working directly with suppliers and manufacturing environments
Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
Analytical proficiency, including advanced Excel and Microsoft Office
Solid understanding of food safety and packaging manufacturing processes
Experience commercializing products to established quality and brand standards
Knowledge of LATAM food regulations is a plus
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Willingness to travel up to 20–30% (domestic and international)
