We are seeking a Commercial Truck Sales Representative interested in a rewarding sales career with International. We will provide the training for our products and provide the tools necessary to make you successful. Must be located in the Middle Tennessee area. International’s Used Truck Organization (UTO) is a vital business unit which operates 13 Used Truck Centers (UTC's) throughout North America. The Used Truck Organization manages considerable assets gained primarily though new truck trade packages with major U.S. fleet companies. Our UTC’s engage in significant retail, wholesale and export transactions. The majority of inventory consists of our International brand class 8 trucks, with a wide assortment of competing brands.
Job Responsibility:
Receive sales and Corporate Training Resources and systems training from the General Manager, and UTC/Staff
Participate in local marketing and advertising activities
Learn industry specific sales tactics
Learn about our various products
Identify sales opportunities and document activities in our CRM
Pursue warm leads, and contact high potential prospects
Meet customers in face to face selling situations
Stay abreast of current inventory and participate in its management
Develop quotes and invoices
Provide necessary coaching and support for dealer sales representatives to conquest new business and retain existing customers
Develop relationships and maintain with strategic prospects and customers
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
At least 2 years of outside or inside sales experience
Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States
Ability to obtain and maintain CDL status (Commercial Driver’s License)
Nice to have:
Demonstrated sales ability
Truck or automotive sales experience or experience in a commission environment is preferred
Knowledge of truck specs of International brands and/or competitor brands is preferred
