International Motors is seeking a Commercial Truck Sales Representative to join our Shreveport Used Truck Center. This role is ideal for motivated sales professionals with experience in automotive or truck sales, or those who have succeeded in commission-based environments and are looking to grow within the commercial truck industry. We provide comprehensive product training and sales support to help you build a strong customer pipeline and achieve long-term success. In this position, you will work in a hybrid sales environment, balancing on-site responsibilities with field-based customer engagement. Travel is required approximately 25–50% of the time to support customer visits, prospecting, inventory movement, and sales activities. You will guide customers through the truck-buying process by reviewing specifications, available options, pricing, and financing solutions to ensure the right fit for their operational needs.
Job Responsibility:
Identify sales opportunities and document activities in CRM
pursue warm leads and complete scheduled prospecting via phone and in the field
Achieve truck sales objectives through direct customer contact and account management
Develop and maintain product knowledge across International and competitive OEM trucks
Prepare customized quotes, present solutions, and guide customers through the purchasing process
Assist customers in evaluating financing options to support successful deal closure
Support inventory movement, including transporting units to and from reconditioning providers as needed
Complete all required sales documentation throughout the transaction lifecycle
Assist with vehicle check-in and check-out processes
Support the General Manager with additional sales-related tasks as needed
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
At least 2 years of outside or inside sales experience
Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States
Ability to obtain and maintain CDL status (Commercial Driver’s License)
Nice to have:
Demonstrated sales ability with a track record of success
Experience in truck or automotive sales, or other commission-based sales environments
Knowledge of International or competitor OEM truck specifications preferred
Current CDL or willingness to obtain within six months
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Candidate preferred residence or sales territory alignment includes: Dallas–Fort Worth Area, Houston, San Antonio, or Shreveport
