Job Description:

Our client’s Commercial, Technology & Data practice operates across key markets in Europe, USA and the Middle East, supporting clients with both strategic partnerships and day-to-day trading needs. The team is now looking to recruit an associate with between 2-6 years’ experience. You will advise on a broad spectrum of complex and high-value commercial agreements. You will work closely with clients ranging from global corporations, to fast-growing market leaders, providing commercially pragmatic, solutions-driven advice. Clients operate across a diverse range of industries, including Financial Services, Retail and consumer goods, Sport and entertainment, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Food and Agribusiness and Transportation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Advise on a broad spectrum of complex and high-value commercial agreements, including: Agency, distribution and supply of goods and services
  • Franchising and concession arrangements
  • Manufacturing and logistics agreements
  • Technology and non-technology licensing and IT services
  • Sourcing and procurement arrangements
  • Sponsorship, marketing and advertising agreements
  • Work closely with clients ranging from global corporations, to fast-growing market leaders, providing commercially pragmatic, solutions-driven advice

Requirements:

  • Have strong experience in commercial contracts (gained at a leading firm or in-house)
  • Demonstrate excellent drafting and negotiation skills
  • Provide commercially focussed, pragmatic advice
  • Have strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Thrive in a collaborative, high-performing team environment
  • 2-6 years’ experience
