Job Description:

Join our global TUI Musement as Commercial & Supply Administrator for the Intercruises brand. This role involves supporting the commercial development for the USA & Canada cruise business by managing clients, negotiating with suppliers, and creating financial and content proposals. The role also includes developing shore excursions, ensuring quality vendor performance, and tracking financial sustainability of the business.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting the commercial team with the commercial development of the USA & Canada cruise business for assigned clients and commercial relationships with suppliers
  • Creating financial and content proposals according to client specifications & deadlines
  • Achieve competitive rates and attractive margins with clients through clients’ and suppliers’ negotiation
  • Communicate with cruise line clients concerning ongoing Requests for Proposal as well as Ad Hoc Quotation requests
  • Acquire new cruise business by participating in RFPs through farming as well as hunting new clients/opportunities
  • Develop compelling Shore Excursions for our cruise clients in key destinations
  • Creating tour portfolios per port which include tour descriptions, quotation sheets, power point presentations, pictures
  • Negotiating and contracting vendors and suppliers to ensure best possible costs
  • Monitoring vendors and suppliers to ensure quality assurance and cruise line guidelines
  • Working with the Operations teams to ensure alignment between quoted and delivered services and provide support for ad hoc requests quotation
  • Monitor and track the financial sustainability of the business through tools such as Salesforce as well as strategize on how to increase profitability

Requirements:

  • Experience in the tourism or cruise industry or relevant college degree preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape and tourism trends in North America
  • Experience in marketing or financial management, preferably in the tourism industry
  • Strong commercial mindset with proven negotiation skills and a successful record of closing deals and building strategic partnerships
  • Understanding of digital components and new industry standards will be an advantage, especially on API-based connectivity, channel managers, reservation technologies
  • Excellent communication skills and written skills
  • Solid knowledge of digital tools (e.g. tasks managements, Salesforce, Power BI)
