Job Description

Join us as a Commercial Strategy Manager, based in London, where you will support the development and delivery of commercial strategy across UK Corporate Banking, Global Transaction Banking and International Corporate Banking. You will help produce insight and analysis that informs senior decision-making, supporting priorities across products, client segments and growth projects. You will work with stakeholders across Product, Payments, Coverage, Finance, Data and Technology to bring together inputs, challenge thinking and ensure outputs are grounded in clear analysis and practical implications. You will translate complex data into clear, decision-ready materials and support projects across growth strategy, propositions, partnerships and investment priorities. Working in a collaborative environment, you will manage defined workstreams, deliver structured analysis and produce materials for senior audiences. Alongside this, you will maintain a focus on risk and control, ensuring work is accurate, well-evidenced and aligned to expectations.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the development and delivery of commercial strategy across UK Corporate Banking, Global Transaction Banking and International Corporate Banking
  • Produce insight and analysis that informs senior decision-making, supporting priorities across products, client segments and growth projects
  • Work with stakeholders across Product, Payments, Coverage, Finance, Data and Technology to bring together inputs, challenge thinking and ensure outputs are grounded in clear analysis and practical implications
  • Translate complex data into clear, decision-ready materials and support projects across growth strategy, propositions, partnerships and investment priorities
  • Manage defined workstreams, deliver structured analysis and produce materials for senior audiences
  • Maintain a focus on risk and control, ensuring work is accurate, well-evidenced and aligned to expectations

Requirements

  • Experience in commercial strategy, consulting, product strategy, transformation or similar roles within financial services or a regulated environment
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience building fact bases and commercial assessments
  • Ability to turn analysis into clear insights, options and recommendations for stakeholders
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing materials for senior audiences
  • Experience managing multiple workstreams and coordinating inputs across different teams
  • Understanding of commercial drivers, client needs and market dynamics within corporate or transaction banking
  • High attention to detail and a focus on producing high-quality outputs

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting growth strategy, proposition development or investment decisions
  • Knowledge of corporate or transaction banking products, segments or client strategies
  • Familiarity with market analysis, scenario modelling and commercial evaluation
  • Confidence using PowerPoint to present complex ideas in a clear way
  • Interest in improving strategy processes, tools and ways of working

  • Create, present, and maintain high-quality sales presentations, account winplans, proposals, contracts and other key material required for sales and customer delivery/ success
  • Conduct product demos, answer key product/ tech questions, and ensure that customers have an up-to-date knowledge of new products, features and Contilio's value proposition
  • Proactively generate leads and promote the Contilio brand and our products by attending events, meetings, calls, etc.
  • Develop and execute customer delivery plans with agility and the customer in mind, ensuring that our customers are onboarded, serviced, and expanded with care
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues/risks, collect feedback and triage new feature requests on behalf of each customer and different user groups
  • Continuously demonstrate the value of Contilio to customers and identify, support, and accelerate upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the construction industry, market trends, competition, and our product and customer success best practices, turning them into measurable customer success strategies, processes and KPIs
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date record of customer interactions in our CRM and account plans and meet and exceed your success/net revenue retention KPIs
