We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Commercial Strategy Analyst to support the Commercial Strategy & Business Development function across the Americas. Reporting to the Director of Commercial Strategy & Business Development, this role will partner closely with Commercial Strategy leadership, Sales leadership, and cross-functional teams to support commercial planning, performance analysis, business development initiatives, and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with data, and skilled at translating insights into clear reporting and presentations that support business growth and performance.
Job Responsibility
Pull, organize, maintain, and distribute recurring sales, distribution, assortment, sell-in, sell-out, and door-level performance reports
Monitor commercial performance across brands, channels, regions, accounts, and doors, identifying trends, opportunities, and data inconsistencies
Maintain the active door universe, including openings, closures, segmentation, and key account status updates
Track key performance indicators including sales productivity, assortment adoption, replenishment performance, and new collection implementation
Prepare reporting and analysis to support leadership reviews, forecasting discussions, business planning, and commercial meetings
Ensure reporting is accurate, organized, and consistently updated for leadership use
Escalate findings, risks, and opportunities to Commercial Strategy leadership as appropriate
Support the preparation of materials related to new account opportunities, door expansion initiatives, account reviews, and strategic projects
Gather and organize relevant commercial, distribution, and market data to evaluate target accounts, white space opportunities, and market potential
Assist in developing business cases by compiling information related to sales potential, brand fit, historical performance, and investment requirements
Track key business development initiatives, timelines, action items, and follow-up activities to ensure visibility and accountability
Support leadership preparation for strategic buying meetings, trade shows, account presentations, and internal business reviews
Maintain distribution files, segmentation tools, account trackers, and reporting databases
Analyze distribution by Maison, channel, region, and customer type to identify opportunities and gaps
Assist in identifying underdeveloped territories, inactive doors, productivity opportunities, and account expansion potential
Prepare distribution recaps and reporting materials to support leadership reviews and decision-making
Partner with Sales and internal stakeholders to gather updates regarding account performance, distribution changes, and new opportunities
Support analysis of product performance by brand, account, channel, and region
Gather assortment, pricing, competitive, and market intelligence to support commercial planning efforts
Track new collection performance, replenishment opportunities, best-selling products, and assortment gaps
Organize and summarize market feedback for HQ and Brand Management teams in a clear and actionable format
Prepare Excel reports, PowerPoint presentations, meeting recaps, and executive-ready business materials
Organize information into clear, concise, and visually compelling formats for leadership audiences
Maintain project trackers, timelines, follow-up documents, and shared resources for the Commercial Strategy & Business Development team
Support ad hoc analyses, special projects, and cross-functional initiatives as needed
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field
1-3 years of experience in business analysis, sales operations, commercial planning, merchandising, retail, luxury goods, consumer products, or a related field
Advanced Excel skills required, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data manipulation, reporting, and analytical functions
Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to build polished, organized, and executive-level presentations
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, SAP, ERP systems, or similar reporting platforms preferred
Demonstrated analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and communicate actionable insights
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Supply Chain, and leadership teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities, recurring deliverables, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proactive, curious, and eager to learn
