We are seeking a commercially astute individual to lead complex, multi-country enterprise bids from qualification through to contract signature. This role blends bid management, commercial strategy, and pricing leadership, working with diverse onshore and offshore teams to shape compelling, competitive propositions. The individual will act as a trusted commercial advisor, ensuring governance, stakeholder alignment, and high-quality outcomes across global opportunities.
Job Responsibility:
Advise on Sourcing Strategy: Collaborate with bid and sales teams to shape sourcing approaches for large-scale customer bids, offering insights into supplier access, product options, and commercial recommendations.
Optimise Bid Feasibility and Costing: Evaluate feasibility outcomes and cost inputs, advising on commercial improvements to ensure competitive, client-aligned proposals.
Provide Market Intelligence: Deliver insights on supplier and competitor trends, leveraging regional knowledge to inform bid shaping and maintain a market-leading position.
Build Strategic Relationships: Partner closely with regional Partner Managers to align on sourcing strategies and solution offerings, ensuring cohesive and informed bid responses.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Challenge existing processes, propose innovative solutions, and provide feedback on customer demand trends to enhance sourcing effectiveness.
Requirements:
Telecom Industry Expertise: Proven experience in telecommunications, ideally within procurement, sourcing, or bid-related roles at a major carrier.
Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of sourcing disciplines, with the ability to build commercial models and advise on cost optimisation.
Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Skilled in distilling complex data into actionable insights, with a track record of problem-solving in operational environments.
Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, bid, and regional partners.
Effective Communicator: Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of delivering clear, data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools for data analysis and commercial modelling.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in leased procurement, bid management, pricing, or pre-sales solutions within the telecom sector.
