The Commercial Specialist role is part of the overall Fixed Value Stream within the Vodafone Consumer business. You will be working within our Fixed segment team who are responsible for developing the Fixed strategy, future propositions, driving awareness, engagement, and demand for our products & services. Within the commercial and trading team, we create our pricing strategy and design offers and promotions that shake up the market to meet our revenue, margin, and net adds goals. We also develop the business cases for all new broadband products, establish our yearly budgets, and create and implement our trading plans. The Broadband Commercial Specialist is responsible for supporting our annual budgeting & rolling forecast processes, the design and delivery of our pricing & offers strategy, the execution and review of tactical offers, propositions and Channel pricing to drive sustainable & profitable growth for Consumer Broadband.
Job Responsibility:
Evaluates market trends to support the annual budget and Rolling Forecast strategies
Point of contact for the segment for commercial teams (retention, cross-sell, channels, finance)
Overseeing cross-functional business case requests, collaborating closely with the finance team to assess benefits and offer strategic commercial guidance
Leading commercial initiatives from launch to post-implementation review (PIR)
Accountable for monitoring business case demand & processes, as well as stock management with Supply Chain
supporting our annual budgeting & rolling forecast processes
the design and delivery of our pricing & offers strategy
the execution and review of tactical offers, propositions and Channel pricing to drive sustainable & profitable growth for Consumer Broadband
reviewing the impact and ROI of offers and propositions across different channels – driving efficiencies and growth through continuous improvement

Requirements:
2-3 years’ experience working in a marketing / commercial / finance function
Proficient in excel with experience analysing data sets
Experience working in cross-functional and virtual teams across different disciplines
Experience in succeeding in high profile, pressurised environment which demands flexibility and multi-tasking
Education to a degree level (finance / economics / marketing / business) or highly relevant compensating work experience
