Job Description:

Global Technology sourcing team in Infra Supply Chain & Engineering has a mission to deliver world-class technology sourcing to enable accelerated capacity delivery with best in class time to market, resiliency, performance, and total cost of ownership. We are looking for a Commercial Sourcing Manager, Cost & Market Intelligence to help further our mission to lead cost effectiveness and efficiency in a rapidly evolving market.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead cross-functional team responsible for cost & market intelligence contributing high value analytics for key infrastructure areas (data center, network equipment, AI, Compute & Storage platforms, racks, and cloud services) for cloud, data center and network equipment, AI, compute & storage components & racks, and services
  • Deliver cost intelligence and coordinate all sources of cost information for the cost lifecycle - budget, negotiations, procurement and cash flows
  • Drive and lead design-for-value and value engineering efforts to optimize for total cost of ownership for components and equipment in partnership with Technical Sourcing Managers and Engineering teams
  • Partner with sourcing managers in the supply chain strategy for the negotiation and procurement of equipment, commodity, and service agreements
  • Provide insights into business, risks and trends pertaining to supply chain cost through market intelligence, process refinement and proactive risk monitoring
  • Work with executives from partner companies, and use competitive intelligence, financial analysis and market research to identify compelling cost trends and opportunities
  • Lead partnerships and collaborate extensively with Engineering, Finance, Accounting, and Sourcing teams to deliver cost-effective operations
  • Develop, maintain, and automate cost reporting, goals, metrics, and actual & estimated cost savings and avoidance in partnership with Finance and sourcing teams
  • Establish and foster working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and find creative ways to overcome obstacles to ensure delivery of cost goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in business, finance, accounting, engineering, sciences or similar field (4-year degree)
  • Demonstrated experience in Data Center Infrastructure technology and critical service procurement environment
  • Experience leading or collaborating with cross-functional mission critical infrastructure commodity, equipment, and services programs, as well as negotiating with commercial management of commodity & equipment manufacturers and services providers
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with matrix organizations & creating a vision, and following through with strategy and execution in the infrastructure technology space
  • Experience in managing improvements and driving efficiency and automation in supply chain & project management
