A well-established Legal 500 firm in Reading is looking for a solicitor with up to two years PQE to join its dynamic Commercial team. The role involves working across diverse sectors with expertise in technology, automotive, and construction. It provides opportunities for flexible or remote work and in-house client exposure. Responsibilities include handling a caseload, business development, and building professional relationships.

Job Responsibility:

  • Handle own caseload
  • assist with business development activities such as webinars, networking events, and client meetings
  • build relationships with clients and professional contacts

Requirements:

  • Newly qualified solicitor or up to two years PQE
  • experience in commercial, technology, intellectual property, and non-contentious construction matters
  • contract drafting and negotiation skills
  • knowledge of data protection and intellectual property
  • ability to provide due diligence support for corporate and banking transactions
