Job Description

We are seeking a Commercial Settlement Lead who will manage end-to-end settlement processes for International Voice Carriers, with a strong focus on debtor accounts. This role ensures accurate monthly Settlement preparation, Bilateral Deal positions, and Deal True-ups, while supporting team members through supervision, development, and knowledge sharing. The individual will play a vital part in identifying risks and opportunities, improving cash flow, and contributing to departmental KPIs.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare monthly Settlements, Bilateral Deal positions, and end-of-period Deal True-ups in line with departmental priorities and timelines
  • Manage a portfolio of complex and large carriers, overseeing the resolution of billing and settlement disputes efficiently and collaboratively
  • Collaborate with Sales, Commercial, Legal, Reporting and external partners, using proactive communication to remove obstacles and deliver the best outcomes for the organisation
  • Act as a key contributor to departmental performance, supporting the manager by strengthening team capability and reducing single points of failure
  • Ensure accurate reporting of revenue and cost, and identify risks, disputes, and opportunities through effective interpretation of complex rating contracts and data modelling

  • Experienced in accounting functions within a large process-driven environment, ideally in the telecommunications sector
  • Skilled in communicating with diverse internal and external stakeholders, including both finance and non-finance partners
  • Comfortable engaging with global partners using culturally sensitive and professional communication
  • Knowledgeable in commercial settlement processes with hands-on exposure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas
  • A qualified accountant or an individual with equivalent industry experience
