Job Description:

Commercial Sales Manager role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, leading sales teams to drive growth and profitability through strategic leadership, customer engagement, and business management in a hybrid work environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leads the sales community to success
  • Communicates direction to the team in line with the company's vision and strategy
  • Manages HPE sales motion towards growth and increased profitability
  • Creates high performing team through recruiting, developing, and retaining talent
  • Orchestrates major Enterprise-level customer engagements
  • Manages escalations to solution and solution to opportunity
  • Engages customer executives to understand business context and build trust
  • Establishes sales methodology for end-to-end sales process management
  • Provides timely and accurate sales forecasts

Requirements:

  • University or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Typically 7-10+ years' experience in sales, including success in achieving progressively higher quota and other sales goals
  • Experience mentoring other sales professionals and other employees
  • Experience leading, indirectly managing, or influencing high performing sales teams
  • Enterprise/commercial experience
  • Experience with data centre space (computing & storage)
  • Understanding of the sale methodology
  • Strategic leadership skills
  • Customer relationship building skills
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Sales methodology deployment
