As the Commercial Sales Manager at Canary Technologies, you will lead a team of quota-carrying Account Executives responsible for driving new logo and expansion revenue across our SMB hotel segment. This is a frontline leadership role for a hands-on, execution-oriented manager who can step into an existing motion, quickly assess performance, and drive consistent results through strong coaching, inspection, and accountability. You will play a critical role in scaling a high-velocity SMB business while developing future sales leaders within Canary.
Job Responsibility:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of SMB Account Executives in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment
Own team performance across core metrics including pipeline generation, win rate, sales cycle, ACV, and quota attainment
Run a disciplined operating cadence including weekly one-to-ones, pipeline reviews, forecasting, and deal inspection
Coach live and async by joining calls, reviewing call recordings, and providing clear, actionable feedback
Partner closely with Sales Ops and Enablement to reinforce process, improve execution, and close skill gaps
Maintain accurate forecasts and proactively surface risks, trends, and performance insights to leadership
Support hiring, onboarding, and ramp of new AEs as the SMB organization continues to scale
Serve as a culture carrier by setting high standards for execution, accountability, and collaboration
Requirements:
2-3+ years of experience managing quota-carrying Account Executives in a B2B SaaS environment
Prior experience as a successful SMB or Mid-Market AE, ideally in a high-velocity sales motion
Proven ability to coach reps through multi-opportunity pipelines and < 30-day sales cycles
Strong command of pipeline management, forecasting, and performance inspection
Data-driven mindset with comfort operating in Salesforce, Gong, and performance dashboards
Based in Dallas or NYC, with willingness to travel occasionally for team or company events
Nice to have:
Experience in hospitality tech is a strong plus
Comfortable operating in a scaling environment with evolving process and ambiguity
