Job Description:

Commercial Restaurant Manager responsible for leading restaurant operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and delivering business results through effective team leadership and operational excellence in an IKEA store environment.

Job Responsibility:

Secure operational excellence and high-quality standards of customer experience in customer and co-worker restaurants
Promote a safety-first culture and implement local compliance standards
Lead and implement commercial calendar, IKEA retail food business plan, communication and sustainability strategies
Ensure customer restaurant maintains retail foundations, sales steering tools, food safety and Swedishness
Identify, inspire, and develop a diverse and high performing team
Ensure team members have thorough knowledge of IKEA Food range and IKEA services
Co-operate with Commercial SFM & Bistro Manager to strengthen link between IKEA Restaurant & Bistro and Swedish Food Market
Keep food displays fresh and appealing
Listen to customers and act on their feedback
Provide relevant IKEA Food offering through efficient and sustainable range presentation

Requirements:

Customer service oriented with proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a vibrant retail and/or service/hospitality environment
Passionate leader inspired by IKEA core leadership capabilities
Curious and eager to learn more to develop the business and deliver strong business results through people
Willing to serve many store customers and strengthen the Swedish profile of the IKEA store
Proven attitude to maintain effective work and leadership behavior in the face of setbacks or pressure
Motivated to explore innovative ideas and find better ways to enable change
