Alter Domus is seeking a Commercial Reporting & Analytics Insights Manager to join the Sales Operations team in our New York office. This role is specifically designed for a data specialist who will transition our commercial reporting from descriptive metrics to predictive insights, directly influencing global strategy.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of advanced commercial performance dashboards using Power BI and CRM Analytics
Move beyond standard reporting to perform trend analysis, variance modeling, and forensic data reviews to identify revenue risks and growth opportunities
Present data-driven findings to the Commercial Leadership Team to support quarterly business reviews and strategic planning
Develop quantitative frameworks to identify 'white space' opportunities within existing client portfolios and new business prospects
Apply statistical approaches to calculate 'share of wallet' and prioritize high-propensity leads
Deliver actionable intelligence that translates complex data sets into clear commercial directives
Utilize sales data and market mapping to drive account segmentation and classification
Perform quantitative analysis to balance sales territories and optimize resource allocation based on historical performance and market potential
Identify and execute automation opportunities to eliminate manual reporting workflows and improve data velocity
Establish and enforce rigorous data management protocols to ensure global consistency and a 'single source of truth' across all commercial platforms
Synthesize internal performance data with external industry, regulatory, and macroeconomic datasets
Provide the commercial team with data-backed insights to refine sales positioning and competitive benchmarking
Serve as the functional lead for the analytical components of the Commercial Technology Stack (Salesforce, CRM Analytics, Outreach)
Ensure the CRM architecture supports advanced reporting requirements and lead the technical upskilling of the user base
Mentor junior team members with a focus on enhancing their technical proficiency and analytical rigor
Drive a culture of data-backed decision-making across the broader Sales Operations team
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline
5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Business Intelligence, specifically focusing on data analysis within the financial services or alternative investment industry
Expert Level: Power BI, Tableau, or Salesforce CRM Analytics
Advanced: Microsoft Excel (VBA, Power Query, complex modeling) and SQL
Hands-on experience with Salesforce architecture and Outreach
Proven ability to interpret complex, multi-dimensional data sets and translate them into strategic insights for executive stakeholders
Strong ability to present technical data findings to non-technical audiences clearly and concisely
Highly detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy, process scalability, and continuous improvement
