Kalos Services’ Commercial Refrigeration Division delivers high-quality installations for major grocery, retail, and commercial clients across Florida. We’re a family-owned company with 20+ years of experience, known for integrity, craftsmanship, and a people-first approach. If you’re a detail-oriented refrigeration technician who loves working hands-on and ensuring every system runs flawlessly, we’d love to meet you. As a Commercial Refrigeration Technician, you will power up, test, and commission new systems so they operate safely, efficiently, and reliably for the long term. You’ll work independently in the field and collaborate closely with installation crews, controls technicians, and project managers to deliver a clean, on-time turnover. You’ll be hands-on with rack systems, walk-ins, reach-ins, and associated control systems for commercial refrigeration installations.

  • Verify systems meet manufacturer specifications and project requirements prior to turnover
  • Document start-up conditions, commissioning data, and punch-list items
  • Collaborate with installation crews, controls technicians, and project managers
  • Facilitate a smooth transition to service and maintenance teams

Requirements

  • 2+ years of commercial refrigeration installation, service, or start-up experience
  • Strong knowledge of rack refrigeration, condensers, evaporators, and controls
  • Ability to troubleshoot and tune superheat, subcooling, airflow, and refrigerant charge
  • Comfortable reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • EPA 608 Certification (required)
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Willingness to travel regionally to job sites (per diem provided)
