Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our client in Chevy Chase, Maryland. In this role, you will support complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, leases, and financing arrangements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in title and survey matters and possess exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.

Job Responsibility

  • Review and analyze title and survey documents to identify potential issues and provide recommendations
  • Assist in drafting and revising real estate contracts, leases, and related legal documentation
  • Coordinate and facilitate real estate closings, ensuring all necessary documents are prepared and executed
  • Conduct research on land acquisition and zoning regulations to support transaction decisions
  • Collaborate with attorneys and clients to ensure compliance with real estate laws and guidelines
  • Manage documentation for acquisitions, sales, and lease agreements to maintain accuracy and completeness
  • Provide support in financial transactions related to real estate deals, including loan documentation
  • Monitor deadlines and track progress of various real estate activities to ensure timely completion
  • Maintain organized records of all transaction-related correspondence and documentation
  • Communicate effectively with external parties, including title companies and surveyors, to resolve issues

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate paralegal work
  • Proficiency in handling title and survey reviews and related issues
