Job Description

Robert Half is seeking a skilled Commercial Real Estate Attorney with proven experience drafting and reviewing title opinions. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on complex real estate transactions and collaborate with a high-performing legal team.

Job Responsibility

  • Draft and review title opinions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Advise on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development
  • Identify and mitigate title issues and collaborate with title companies and stakeholders to resolve discrepancies
  • Draft, negotiate, and review commercial real estate contracts and related documents
  • Conduct due diligence, including title, survey, and zoning reviews
  • Provide legal guidance on real estate law and related compliance matters
  • Coordinate with internal and external counsel, brokers, and clients as needed

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • active Georgia state bar membership
  • Minimum 5 years of experience practicing commercial real estate law with a focus on title opinions
  • Strong knowledge of applicable real estate and title laws and regulations
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Must be willing to work a part-time schedule up to 20 hours
