Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in handling diverse real estate transactions, including acquisitions, leasing, development, and financing of commercial properties. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with institutional and entrepreneurial clients, providing strategic legal guidance and business-oriented solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to commercial real estate, such as purchase agreements, leases, and loan documents
  • Oversee the entire transaction process from initial term sheets to final closing
  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including title reviews, surveys, zoning assessments, and environmental analyses
  • Provide legal counsel on the acquisition, development, and leasing of commercial properties
  • Collaborate with clients, lenders, title companies, and opposing counsel to ensure smooth transaction execution
  • Ensure compliance with real estate laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Offer strategic advice to clients, including risk assessments and business-oriented legal solutions
  • Serve as in-house counsel for select clients, addressing their ongoing real estate legal needs
  • Manage complex real estate assignments for institutional clients
  • Facilitate communication and coordination across all parties involved in transactions

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial real estate law
  • Expertise in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing legal documents
  • Strong ability to manage multiple transactions independently and efficiently
  • Familiarity with industrial, retail, office, or multifamily real estate projects is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven track record in conducting due diligence and resolving legal challenges
  • Knowledge of commercial leasing and lending practices
  • Ability to provide strategic legal counsel tailored to client needs
