Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Accountant for a contract opportunity in Branchburg, NJ. This role is fully onsite, Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm.

Job Responsibility:

  • Review tenant and vendor accounts, rent statements, and ledgers
  • Process invoices, payments, and weekly vendor disbursements
  • Maintain accurate data across accounting and property management systems
  • Handle vendor inquiries and prepare aging reports
  • Manage insurance certificates, lien waivers, and tax documentation
  • Enter and maintain commercial leases
  • verify rent and CAM charges
  • Process tenant move-ins and move-outs
  • monitor receivables
  • Coordinate legal filings with external counsel as needed

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of commercial real estate accounting experience
  • Strong analytical, time management, and communication skills
  • Advanced Excel proficiency
  • Experience with Yardi required
