Job Description:

Our Work Employment Services team supports people with disability to achieve meaningful employment aligned to their NDIS goals. As a Commercial Quality Coordinator, you will partner with the Commercial Quality Lead to maintain high standards of quality, safety, and compliance across our Oakleigh and Kew sites.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organisational requirements
  • Conduct quality assurance tasks and monitor food safety and quality performance, including but not limited to: Timely completion of verification schedule tasks, participate in internal audits, maintain the multi-disciplinary food safety and customer standards.
  • Support internal and external audits across WHS, Environmental, and Quality domains
  • Lead food safety culture and support the implementation of quality protocols
  • Assist in commercial customer queries, new product trial processes. Address customer concerns or complaints and coordinate in resolving food safety & quality?related issues
  • Support continuous improvement by implementing audit recommendations and process enhancements

Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification and/or industry certification in Food Quality Assurance (highly desirable)
  • 2+ years of industry experience in quality systems or compliance
  • Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and HACCP principles
  • Understanding of food safety & quality standards and regulations, ideally including HACCP, SQF, WQA, Kosher, Halal, Australian Certified Organic and Standard Code.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to manage documentation efficiently
  • Fit2Work National Criminal History Check
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
