Job Description:

A well-established, multi-disciplinary land and property consultancy is looking to appoint a Commercial Property Surveyor to lead and grow its presence across Kettering and the wider Northamptonshire market. The business works across a broad range of property services, including planning, architecture, building surveying, valuation, business consultancy, and commercial agency.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing and developing an existing portfolio of commercial instructions
  • Working across retail, office, industrial, and mixed-use assets
  • Generating new business through networking, prospecting, and local relationship building
  • Leading valuations, disposals, acquisitions, lettings, and lease advisory work
  • Identifying opportunities to grow market share across Kettering and Northamptonshire
  • Strengthening the firm’s profile within the local commercial property market
  • Driving engagement with higher-value assets and more complex transactions
  • Advising landlords, tenants, investors, and developers
  • Managing negotiations and transactions with minimal supervision
  • Maintaining accurate records, reporting, and pipeline management
  • Representing the business at client meetings, viewings, and local business events

Requirements:

  • Proven experience within commercial property agency
  • Strong knowledge of the East Midlands, Northamptonshire, or similar regional markets
  • A track record of winning instructions and generating new business
  • Confidence managing clients, negotiations, and transactions independently
  • The ability to take ownership and work autonomously
  • RICS qualification
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
