Job Description

Senior Surveyor - Commercial Leasing | On-site. Are you an ambitious commercial agent who thrives on closing deals but feels held back by traditional corporate constraints? Imagine stepping into a role in Central London where your entrepreneurial spirit is celebrated, and your creative ideas actually shape how property is marketed. As a Commercial Property Advisor at GKR International, you will take ownership of the full leasing lifecycle—from managing dynamic property listings to advising clients on yields and modern workplace design. This is a permanent, office-based role designed for a proactive dealmaker who wants to blend conventional leasing expertise with modern, digitally-driven property advisory.

Job Responsibility

  • Proactively manage and update active rosters of commercial property listings, ensuring high-quality presentation and maximum market exposure
  • Advise landlords and tenants on strategic property improvements, workspace optimization, and rental yields to maximize asset value
  • Actively build and leverage relationships with landlords, tenants, occupiers, and industry collaborators to generate high-value instructions and referral pipelines
  • Oversee the conventional leasing journey, coordinating smoothly with solicitors, surveyors, and stakeholders from instruction to completion.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of solid experience within a commercial agency, with a demonstrable history of completing successful commercial leasing transactions
  • Deep understanding of commercial asset classes (with a strong focus on office and/or retail sectors) and a thorough grasp of the legal processes involved in conventional leasing
  • Experience gained within a commercial agency, conventional leasing environment, or a serviced office provider (provided you possess strong knowledge of conventional lease structures)
  • Daily hands-on experience utilizing industry-essential tools and portals, specifically Kato CRM, CoStar, or equivalent property databases
  • Success in this role is measured by your commercial drive and deal-making ability
  • therefore, no university degree or RICS accreditation is required.

Nice to have

  • Strong social media acumen, particularly in creating engaging LinkedIn content, writing industry blogs, and demonstrating an authentic on-camera presence to build a personal brand
  • An eye for workplace aesthetics, interior design trends, and modern workplace technology that helps clients visualize the future of their spaces.

What we offer

  • Competitive base salary
  • Industry-leading commission structure
  • Clear pathways for career progression.
