Job Responsibility
support the delivery of high-quality, pragmatic legal advice across strategic projects, procurement, wholesale, and emerging AI initiatives
help ensure compliance with evolving legislation while safeguarding commercial objectives and managing legal risk
build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, aligning legal guidance with business priorities and enabling confident decision-making
contribute to risk assessment and assurance frameworks, proactively identifying and mitigating regulatory, financial, and reputational risks
support governance and continuous improvement by refining legal templates, processes, and training materials
help drive efficiency by contributing to legal innovation, including automation, simplification, and the use of legal technology
collaborate with external partners such as suppliers, legal counsel, and commercial stakeholders to support strategic outcomes
stay curious keeping up with regulatory changes and sharing insights that help the wider team grow and improve
Requirements
experience working in an in-house legal team or within commercial contracting in private practice
bring (or are keen to develop) strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance legal risk with business opportunity
confident taking ownership of your work and managing your own caseload, with appropriate guidance where needed
proactive and self-motivated, with a can-do mindset and the ability to move things forward independently
have an interest in the technology or telecoms sector, with awareness of relevant legal and industry trends
can build trusted relationships and communicate clearly with a wide range of stakeholders
use analytical thinking to solve problems and deliver practical, solution-oriented outcomes
