In this role you will work closely with the CEO, sales and our production team. Your focus will be to run the commercial engine so the founder can spend his time with customers and closing, not in admin. You will own our pipeline hygiene, customer communication and sales backend, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. You will have the opportunity to build the commercial operating system of an innovative material that is based on apple waste and to work with like-minded people.
Job Responsibility
Identify and reach out to potential customers in our target segments
Respond fast to inbound enquiries and qualify them
Nurture our funnel and make sure deals keep progressing, with a weekly follow-up cadence
Keep our CRM clean and current, every deal with a clear stage, next step and realistic close date
Prepare quotes and product samples, coordinate packaging and sending, and follow up to capture customer feedback
Administer our order program: contract tracking, prepayment status and call-off planning
Coordinate orders from agreement to delivery with our production and delivery team
Prepare short, sharp briefs before customer calls
Produce a weekly pipeline snapshot and continuously suggest improvements to the sales process
Basically do everything around the sale so the founder and sales can focus on selling
Requirements
Organized to a fault, self-driven, and you let nothing slip
One to three years in operations, commercial operations or a B2B startup, or a strong business graduate ready for real responsibility
Experience with HubSpot as a CRM, ideally also with Odoo as an ERP
Wanting to get things done in the smartest way
Interest and skills with AI tools are a major plus
You see operations as valuable in its own right and are not looking to close deals yourself
