To lead and manage all commercial, financial, and operational functions across the assigned region, ensuring compliance, cost efficiency, and smooth business operations. The role involves driving process adherence, managing financial transactions, overseeing statutory compliance, and coordinating with sales, logistics, and corporate teams to achieve business objectives.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee billing, invoicing, credit note issuance, and payment reconciliation for the region
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of accounting entries, purchase booking, and expense recognition
Monitor receivables and payables, ensuring proper control and reporting
Coordinate with finance for month-end closures, audit schedules, and reconciliations
Review and approve vendor payments, claims, and customer adjustments in line with company policy
Ensure adherence to company’s commercial policies, SOPs, and statutory compliance (GST, TDS, etc.)
Conduct regular internal checks and support statutory/internal audits
Implement and monitor controls to prevent revenue leakage and ensure documentation accuracy
Oversee regional warehousing, stock movements, and dispatch documentation
Manage RTO, in-transit, and missing stock issues with logistics and CFA partners
Support reconciliation of stock ledgers and ensure accuracy of system vs. physical stock
Partner with regional sales and operations teams to support pricing, schemes, and trade offers
Prepare MIS reports – sales vs. claims, region profitability, and outstanding summaries
Analyze regional commercial performance and recommend corrective actions
Coordinate cross-functional communication between finance, SCM, and sales
Drive process automation and digitalization initiatives in commercial operations
Requirements:
Strong understanding of finance, taxation, and commercial operations
Excellent analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Tally) and MS Excel
Eye for detail and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Education: MBA (Finance/Operations) / CA (Inter) / M.Com or equivalent
Experience: 6–10 years of experience in commercial / finance operations, preferably in FMCG, manufacturing, or distribution sectors
Languages: English, Hindi (and any regional language preferred)
