Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Act as commercial lead for our Bexley project
  • Manage and develop commercial staff, leading by example in best commercial practice
  • Proactive identification and resolution of commercial risks and potential disputes both upstream and downstream
  • Take responsibility for all commercial reporting, ensuring submissions are on time, accurate and in accordance with governance
  • Commercial Reporting including CVRs, Aged WIP, Cashflow, end of life forecasts and other ad hoc reports and tasks in support of the business

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience working within the Infrastructure or Construction industry in a similar role
  • Previous experience as a successful line manager or functional manager of a commercial team
  • Prior experience of projects in value of £50m+
  • Strong professional relationship management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Nice to have

  • Qualification in Quantity Surveying (BSC or equivalent)
  • RICS or CICES
